What age groups do you accept at Okaka FC?

Okaka FC accepts players from age 5 to 18. We have development programs for ages 5-8, youth teams for ages 9-15, and competitive academy teams for ages 16-18.

How can my child join Okaka FC Academy?

We hold open trials twice a year (January and July). You can register your child through our website or by visiting our academy office. Players with exceptional talent may be scouted directly.

What are the training schedules?

Our training sessions are held Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Younger age groups train 3 times weekly while competitive teams train 5 times a week with matches on weekends.

What facilities does Okaka FC have?

We boast a full-size FIFA-approved artificial pitch, two natural grass training pitches, a modern gymnasium, physiotherapy center and classroom facilities for academic support.

Do you provide academic education alongside football training?

Yes we have a partnership with Greenfield International School that provides morning academic classes (8 AM - 2 PM) before afternoon football training. This is optional for players.

What are the fees for joining the academy?

Fees vary by age group and program. Our development program costs ₦25000 monthly, while the competitive academy is ₦40000 monthly. Scholarships are available for exceptional talents.

What qualifications do your coaches have?

All our head coaches hold at least UEFA B licenses, with several having UEFA A licenses. We also have specialized coaches for goalkeeping, fitness, and technical skills.

Do players get opportunities for professional contracts?

Yes, we have partnerships with several European and African clubs. Our U18 team participates in international tournaments, and we ve helped 32 players secure professional contracts in the last 3 years.

What safety measures are in place for young players?

We have certified first-aiders at all sessions, comprehensive insurance coverage, strict child protection policies, and a 1:10 coach-to-player ratio during training.

How do you handle injuries?

We have a full-time physiotherapist and sports doctor on staff. All serious injuries are referred to our partner hospital, and we have a structured rehabilitation program.

Can girls join Okaka FC?

Absolutely! We have a growing female football program with teams from U12 to U18. Our womens team competes in the national womens league.

What tournaments does the academy participate in?

We compete in the National Youth League, Lagos State FA Cup (youth category), and several international tournaments including the Gothia Cup and Iber Cup.

Do you provide accommodation for players?

We have boarding facilities for players aged 12+ who come from outside Lagos. Our hostel has 24/7 security, a warden, and study areas.

How are players progress evaluated?

Players receive monthly technical reports, quarterly physical assessments, and annual psychological evaluations. Parents get detailed feedback during our termly review meetings.
